Yes, now from last three days means from 20th Nov, you can chat with your ORKUT friends directly in ORKUT window.
Just click on the GREEN BALL and it starts !

Whether you are logged in or not into your Gtalk/Gmail, your friends can ping you from there GTalk or Gmail account. It also provided auto suggest technology which keep the track with which of your orkut freinds, you want to chat. Preventing your side with full of CHAT windows requests from your ORKUT friends.

Masala (spice) Gmail !!

Before four day back, I was informed about the new feature launched by Gmail, that is the COLOR up your INBOX with many different theme available , currently the number is fixed to 30 only.

As Google always do the things in different manner, again it did the things as like only, the theme does not only provide the coloring option like red blue etc, but it gives you the full independence for the selection of the design behavior look by releasing 30 different themes.

SMS text messaging right from GMAIL chat

Yeah, now you can send SMS messages to your friend during your chats, right from your Gmail Chat, Google decided to add this facility to Gmail chat, now you'll behaving a new option in 'SEND SMS' in your right click dialog box of friends' list.

As being the hobbiest blogger, somehow i have my eyes on some leading gaints for the technology updates, all these information I found on the Gmail Lab section.

But due to some bugs, Google rolled out these feature and decided to luanch it after 2 weeks means near 15th Nov,2008 so wait and watch for the revolution.

Some changes into Orkut :Orkut powered by Google

Today I just logged into my Google account for checking the new scraps and mails. I was wondered that Google changed the UI and text material of the SCRAP NOTIFICATION mail, previously we are having a notification mail in plain text with some HTML links. The URL fully displayed into the mail, like http://www.orkut.co.in/Scrapbook?uid=1############1.

From today onwards Google changed the way, like now all the plain text is gone now we'll be having HTML links in the form of TEXT links, A new background(as of old ORKUT) colour will be displayed in all mails, at the left corner an Orkut logo will be displayed and just next to that means at the right corner a GOOGLE logo will be appreas, saying powered by Google.Please have a look on the below image:





Some other changes are also made by Google in last month, like the URL display of orkut, previously asll the URL was simply:
http://www.orkut.co.in/Scrapbook?uid=1############1,
now there is new entities is added, which will accpet the URL s parameter(as I think), now URL in the address bar are displayed something like,
http://www.orkut.co.in/Main#Scrapbook?uid=1############1

I dont know why these changes are made for security reasons, for stoping mass scrap sending or for stoping scrap to all facilities provided by other thrid party websities.

Pan-Indore Marathon 2008

Now it looks like dreams comes true, as all of you know Indore also know as mini Bombay(Mumbai) is upcoming metro city of the India, now it have big malls, townships, city bus now Indore will be having its own Pan-Indore Marathon conceptualized by students of IIM(Indian Institute of Management), Indore.

The marathon will consist of The Peace Run and The Celebratory Run. The Peace Run will be 10 kms in length, whereas the Celebratory Run will be 3 km long. The Peace Run will take a 10 kms route, long enough for serious runners to compete and amateur for participants to challenge themselves. The Celebratory Run, a 3 kms run allows everyone in Indore to show their support for the cause.

Short Summary:
Celebratory Run: 3 Kms.
Eligibility: Born before October 2nd, 1996

Peace Run: 10 Kms.
Eligibility: Born before October 2nd, 1992

FeedBurner Error

From last few months I am thinking to have a FeedBurner account for my blog, but as I am not a frequent blogger, so I droped the idea, but today I decided to have the one.

I signed up the FeedBurner by using my Google Account, it works (:-) FeedBurner is now Google service).

I got my FeedBurner URL as
http://feeds.feedburner.com/deepaksyadav

as being my hobby to play with the URLs by applying some injections into the same, I tried lot of things, finally I decided to see what happen if no ID is passed to the URL so I typed:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/

and expected to see the homepage for Feed or a welcome page, but I got the HTTP Status 400 error generated by Apache Tomcat/5.0.28, bang quite interesting, see the pic(below).

Jaiku is Back

Long lsting wait of jaiku after the aquition is ends with the relaunch of jaiku by Google. But still there is some barrier, the service currently under test, new user can only sign up with the invitation only.

Let see when it opens the door for every one.
