Microsoft Vine = Facebook +Twitter ?


Microsoft launched a new project Microsoft Vine with innovative idea. It provides the facility of alerts of people and place we care most. Vine connected with facebook alerts operates on the concept of twitter.

The Microsoft Vine beta connects you to the people and places you care about most, when it matters. Stay in touch with family and friends, be informed when someone you care about needs help. Get involved to create great neighborhoods, communities or causes. You select the people and places you care about most. Use alerts, reports and your personal dashboard to stay in touch, informed and involved.

How does Microsoft Vine work?
Use the dashboard to stay informed about what’s happening with the places and people you care about. Information associated with the places you have chosen will appear on your map.Information associated with the people you care about who are in your Vine network will appear on the dashboard too. You will know when they send you an alert, post a report or update their Facebook status information.

Vine service is online in May 2009 and open for limited users through beta invitation. As you receive an invitation you can immediately invite and add another users you care most.

The invitation process may take 2 months. So, let us ask for invitation and wait for the functionality.

Vine requires a software download from vine.net it will provided as a dashboard which shows people and places in our network, as or when there is update related to our network including facebook status messages it will be available with dashboard.

On 30th April, 2009 askulloo.com opens the beta registration. askulloo.com is a question answering website presently support users generated question answer system.

It is Indore, India based startup designed and developed by Deepak Yadav. It is research project for automated answering of questions.
